Artist's Eye — Alpine Walk & Painting Session

Prezzo: CHF 620.00

An Alpine walk with Pavlina, followed by a studio session painting from direct observation.

Before paint, there is looking. This session begins outside: a guided walk through the landscape around Zermatt with Pavlina, learning to see the way a painter sees — light, form, distance, the way the mountain changes in the afternoon. The studio session that follows draws directly from what was observed. This is the most complete immersion in Pavlina's practice and the most experiential format on offer.

What you'll experience

  • Guided observation: how a painter reads a landscape before touching the canvas
  • Light quality in the Alpine environment and how it affects colour perception
  • Translating a lived experience into abstract marks rather than literal representation
  • Painting from memory and sensation rather than reference
  • Extended one-to-one conversation with Pavlina about her practice and process
