Pavlinsky

Texture & Colour Intensive — Technique Workshop

Price: CHF 480.00

A technique-focused session for those who want to understand how Pavlinsky's signature surface quality is built.

The texture in Pavlina's work is not accidental — it is the result of specific decisions made in a particular order. This session goes behind the surface. Guests work with palette knives, impasto techniques, and mixed media to build and manipulate texture with intention. The subject matter is open; the focus is entirely on the physical language of the canvas.

What you'll experience

  • Palette knife handling and the different marks it can produce
  • Impasto layering — building volume and then working back into it
  • How texture interacts with light and changes across viewing distances
  • Mixing mediums to extend or modify paint behaviour
  • Colour relationships in a textured surface — how they shift as layers dry
