Ready meals

Where do you deliver?

Within Zermatt and Täsch. Please order at least 24 hours ahead. Delivery is free in Zermatt on orders over CHF 150; any delivery fee is shown at checkout before you pay. Details: Shipping & Delivery.

How do I store and heat them?

Chilled meals go into the fridge as soon as they arrive. Each dish comes with its own preparation instructions — most are ready in about fifteen minutes.

Can I return a ready meal?

For food-safety reasons, fresh and perishable products cannot be returned. If something arrives damaged, defective or wrong, email marian@private-chef.ch within 24 hours with a photo, and we will replace it or refund it — whichever you prefer.

And wine or other non-perishable items?

Unopened items in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of receipt; return shipping is at your cost. Full terms: Returns & Refunds.

Private chef

How do I book a private chef?

Send us the date, the number at the table and anything we should cook around through the Private Chef page or the contact form. Marián writes back himself with a menu, usually within a day.

Can you cook around allergies and diets?

Yes. Every menu is written for your table — tell us about allergies, intolerances and preferences when you enquire.

How does payment work?

A 50% deposit holds the date, with a staged cancellation scale. The binding terms are in clause 8 of our Terms of Service, summarised on Payment & Cancellation.

Classes

How are classes paid?

Cooking, coffee and art classes are paid in full when you book. They are not refunded in cash; if you cannot come, the amount becomes a credit. See Payment & Cancellation.

The Aroleid House

How does booking the house work?

Each evening has a minimum spend, met by the food and drink of the night. The full minimum is due 90 days before your date. All evenings and terms are on The Aroleid House page.
